We respect your privacy and right to control your data. If you wish to delete your KnowDoc account and all associated data, you can do so directly within the mobile application or by submitting a manual request.
Warning: Account deletion is permanent. All your scanned documents, history, and subscription details will be permanently erased and cannot be recovered.
Method 1: Delete via App
The easiest way to delete your account is through the KnowDoc mobile app:
- Open the KnowDoc app on your device
- Go to Settings (gear icon)
- Tap on Profile or Account
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
- Confirm your choice by typing "DELETE" when prompted
Method 2: Manual Request
If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion via email, please contact our support team:

Please include:
- Your registered email address
- Reason for deletion (optional)
Manual requests are typically processed within 48-72 hours. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.
Data Retention
Upon account deletion:
- Your personal profile data is removed immediately
- All uploaded and scanned documents are permanently deleted from our secure storage
- Your subscription will be cancelled (if handled directly), but you may need to manually cancel app store subscriptions via Apple/Google settings
- Cached data on your device will be cleared
